On September 30, 2020, the International Association of Chiefs of
Police (IACP) held an on-line webinar addressing the Comprehensive
Strategies for Preventing Law Enforcement Suicide. As you know, this
is a very important topic.
The presentation was recorded. I’m attaching the link below in
case you missed it. https://vimeo.com/465800990/7ef2983dee
Training Description
Suicide prevention efforts are most effective and sustainable when
they are implemented as part of a well thought-out, strategic plan which
combines evidence-based strategies for different levels of intervention. Join
the IACP, Education Development Center, and the National Action Alliance for
Suicide Prevention for a webinar to launch a first of its kind resource, A
Comprehensive Framework for Law Enforcement Suicide Prevention, outlining key
strategies to prevent law enforcement suicide.
