"FLEOA would like to point out that American cities across our nation have been looted, burned, destroyed and in some, remain in the hands of criminal mob rule. Law enforcement officers and Americans citizens across this nation have been injured and property destroyed due to this ‘myth,’” FLEOA President Cosme explained. "As Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, we find it troubling that Representative Nadler has clearly not seen the videos of Antifa’s activity or the law enforcement briefing material we are sure he receives.”

Cosme continued, "Antifa and the destructive violence on America’s streets is real. The only ‘myth’ is the one being perpetuated by Rep. Nadler, who joins the chorus of doubters who don’t want to believe facts and photos.”

"The Chicago Police Department recently released a video documenting Antifa and anarchist activities during a protest where they changed clothes, armed themselves, and attacked the police,” said Cosme.

Cosme continued, "Federal law enforcement and law enforcement across the nation have been under attack by violent Antifa and anarchist criminal activity who co-opted peaceful protests as a cover for their violent action. We call on those, like Rep. Nadler, who fail to see the truth behind how these peaceful protests are being hijacked by violent activity, to visit the federal law enforcement officers working in Portland and other locations so they can see firsthand that ‘myth’ come alive and the violent means by which federal law enforcement are being attacked and villainized.”

FLEOA is the nation’s largest non-partisan, not-for-profit professional association representing more than 28,000 federal law enforcement officers and agents across 65 federal agencies.
