Death of Border Patrol Agent Brings Condolences

The Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA) offers its sincere
condolences to FLEOA member and U.S. Border Patrol Agent Rogelio Martinez’s family and friends.
Agent Martinez died in the line of duty while patrolling the Big Bend Sector in Texas of the U.S.
border with Mexico.

FLEOA President Nate Catura said, "Our members are acutely aware of the dangers law enforcement
officers confront while protecting the public. It is a tragic loss when one of our bravest is lost
in the remote areas where our Border Patrol Agents confront dangerous drug traffickers and
smugglers. We pray for Agent Martinez and his injured partner.”

FLEOA offers Homeland Security Acting Secretary Duke and Border Patrol Chief Provost the support and assistance of all of our members in identifying the attackers of these brave federal agents.
