FLEOA Addresses House LE Caucus

Dear Colleague:

There are more than 100,000 Federal law enforcement officers working each day in the United States and across the globe to protect homeland security, dismantle transnational criminal organizations, and investigate waste, fraud, and abuse in Federal programs. As Congress continues to explore measures to address our debt and control the growth of government, it is important to consider the potential impact of deficit-reduction proposals on the mission of our Federal law enforcement agencies and the rank-and-file officers who serve our country each day.

At the request of several organizations that represent federal criminal investigators, the U.S. Border Patrol, and Inspectors General, the Law Enforcement Caucus will host a briefing on Wednesday, December 14th, in 2103 Rayburn, from 2-3 p.m to provide Members and staff with an opportunity to learn about the fiscal issues that affect agency missions and officer safety. Organizations participating in the briefing include:

• FBI Agents Association (FBIAA)

• Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association (FLEOA)

• National Border Patrol Council (NBPC)

We hope you can join us for this informative briefing with the brave men and women in federal law enforcement. For more information please contact Lindsay Manson with Rep. Reichert (5-7761) or Arthur Mandel with Rep. Pascrell, Jr (5-5751).

Sincerely,

DAVE REICHERT
Member of Congress

BILL PASCRELL, JR
Member of Congress
