National Chapter Director Richard Gallo (USDA-OIG)

Richard J. Gallo is a Special Agent with the USDA Office of Inspector General, and has been since 1984. From 1990 to 1995, he was a Supervisory Special Agent, and since 1995, a Senior Special Agent. In 1988, 2000, and 2002 Gallo was the recipient of the USDA Secretarial Awards for Investigative Excellence.
Prior to USDA-OIG, he was with the City of New York's Department of Investigation, Housing Authority OIG. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, a Masters in Public Administration and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice all from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, NY, NY. Within FLEOA, he held the following positions: Agency President (Interim) from 1988-1990; National Secretary from 1990-1993; National First VP from 1993-1996; and National President from 1996-2003. He looks forward to following in the footsteps of previous Chapter Directors including Ed Devins, R.O. Johnson and Brian Cornell. |
