Vice President, Jon Adler (DOJ-USAO) began his law enforcement career as a Revenue Officer in 1991, and became a Special Agent with IRS-CID shortly thereafter.
He has spent most of his career in the Southern District of New York working a variety of criminal investigations. At the end of 1999, he was selected as a Resident Lead Instructor for Use of Force training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. After serving as the acting Use of Force Program Manager, Adler joined the United States Attorney's office in the S.D.N.Y. as a Criminal Investigator.
He is presently assigned to the Major Crimes Unit. Adler has been an active member of F.L.E.O.A. for over eleven years, and is also a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA). Prior to his election as Executive Vice President Adler served on FLEOA's National Board as Secretary and First Vice President.
Adler also served as an officer in the Glynco chapter, as well as the Agency President for the United States Attorney's office members. In addition to his investigative duties, Adler continues to serve as the Use of Force Coordinator for the U.S.A.O. Criminal Investigators in the S.D.N.Y.
