Duncan Templeton began his career in Federal law enforcement in 1987 as a Special Agent with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Office of Inspector General (OIG). In 1999 he was promoted to Chief Internal Affairs within the Inspection Division of USDA-OIG. In 2003 he began working for the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia as a criminal investigator, specializing in District Court investigations.

Mr. Templeton has been a member of FLEOA since 1987 and was elected as the National Legislative Vice President in November 2005.
