The FLEOA Foundation was established to
- financially assist surviving family members of federal law enforcement members killed in the line of duty; financially assist federal law enforcement members who have become disabled;
- financially assist federal law enforcement employees and their families in "select" instances (severe trauma or financial loss where no other source of assistance is available);
- provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships to students pursuing a career in the law enforcement field;
- and provide selective grants to charitable organizations.
Contact the Foundation at P.O. Box 1306, Grand Central Station, NY 10163-1306.
The FLEOA Foundation scholarship program is currently limited to 15 grants of $1,000, each awarded to high school graduates. A scholarship committee consisting of two members of the Board of Directors and one or more non-board members will independently review and rank each application. Scholarships will be awarded in the order of the highest cumulative ranking. As the Foundation grows, we hope to expand the number and the amount of awards. Your participation and support of this worthwhile program is encouraged and greatly appreciated. See the links below for important information.
